📋 About This Mod
KYetVsD-B-c HGUDDjqSs7w
The street race music system has been completely redesigned from the ground up. Previously, each race had its own fixed default track — repetitive, lifeless, and honestly closer to noise than to anything resembling real race music.
With this mod, each race now features a random, high-energy song from a dynamic arcade-style soundtrack, giving every event its own unique feel. The music adapts to the race’s intensity, and when the race ends, a short outro track plays that reflects the outcome, whether you win or lose.
It adds atmosphere, excitement, and a sense of closure that makes the transition back to regular gameplay feel much more natural and satisfying.
Creating Custom Playlists (
Method 1
):
You can create your own playlists directly in the <GameDir>\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\Synthrace\music folder.
Create a subfolder with your playlist name — normal Windows naming rules apply, but the name can’t start with a special character.
Inside that folder, add your music files:
-
[]Songs — These can have any name and must be in .mp3 or .ogg format.
A playlist is recognized as soon as at least one song is present, and you can add as many songs as you like.[
]Outros (optional) — If provided, they must be named RaceEnd1 (win) and RaceEnd2 (loss), using either .mp3 or .ogg format.Any missing outro will automatically be replaced with the default version.
The structure should look like this:
──📁 Synthrace
└─📁 My Playlist
├─🎵 Kerry Eurodyne - Overdrive.mp3
├─🎵 Lizzy Wizzy - 404 Not Found.ogg ←.ogg is supported as well
├─🎵 ... ← add as many as you want
├─🎵 RaceEnd1.mp3 ← win
└─🎵 RaceEnd2.mp3 ← loss
During a race, the mod randomly selects from your Songs; when the race ends, it plays the matching Outro (if available).
This lets you craft any vibe you want — from chill synthwave to intense rock — and you’re free to share your playlists with others if you like.
