BetterLootMarkers - Cyberpunk 2077 mod

v1. 4. 0 Major Update - Updated for Cyberpunk 2. 31!

This is a Cyberpunk 2077 mod that adds detailed loot markers on looting containers and dropped loot.

If a container contains items of different types (armor, weapon, eddies), an icon for each category will show instead of the default loot marker, with different colored icons to represent the highest quality loot in each category.

Tested to work with Cyberpunk 2. 31

• []NEW Immersive Mode (Scanner Only) — Loot markers only appear while the scanner is active, keeping your HUD clean during normal gameplay. Toggle in the CET overlay.[/]

  []NEW Item Count Badges — See at a glance how many items are in each category with count badges displayed under the icons. Toggle in the CET overlay.[/]

  []Stability & Performance — Batched marker refreshes, stale controller cleanup, cached scanner detection, and improved error handling throughout.[/]

Vanilla Game Bug Fixes

BetterLootMarkers also fixes the following vanilla game bugs:

• []Scanner Exit Marker Disappearance — In the vanilla game, loot markers vanish when exiting the scanner/focus mode. BetterLootMarkers keeps them visible by re-enabling loot mappins during a grace window after scanner exit.[/]

  []Dead Body Ammo Markers — The vanilla game doesn't properly show ammo loot markers on dead bodies. BetterLootMarkers correctly follows the item owner chain to detect all lootable items, including ammo on dead NPCs.[/]

Installation

This mod requires Cyber Engine Tweaks v1. 37. 1+ to be installed.

Extract the entire repository into

"Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\"and run the game.

Settings (CET Overlay)

• []Vertical Mode — Change the display layout of the markers to vertical[/]

  []Show Default Markers — Bring back the original markers alongside Better Loot Markers[/]

  []Marker Scaling — Change the size of the markers[/]

  []NEW Immersive Mode (Scanner Only) — Only show loot markers while the scanner is active[/]

  []NEW Show Item Counts — Display count badges for each loot category[/]
