๐จ Tactical Response Police
A smart policing order for your ships. Assign it to any patrol-capable vessel and it will secure your sector without micromanagement: patrolling, hunting pirates, clearing enemy stations, chasing fleeing targets, calling for backup, delegating capital threats, and responding to station attacks with proportional force.
๐ฐ๏ธ WHAT IT DOES
- Patrols your stations, sector gates (jump + super-highway), and in-sector highway access points โ each toggleable. Route updates take effect on the next lap.
- Actively scans nearby S/M/L ships for undercover pirates or illegal cargo and engages on detection. Pirate uncovering requires gravidar range; WASA does not reveal disguised hostiles.
- Hunts enemy ships and stations (built or under construction), respecting faction relations, per-object player marks, and fire-authorization overrides.
- Centralized intel refreshes every 30 seconds:
WASA mode: any sector with a Wide Area Sensor Array on a player or strong-ally station (rep โฅ 0. 32) gets full-sector coverage. Patrols are dispatched directly to each hostile with live position tracking.
Line-of-sight mode: sectors without WASA still receive intel, but only for enemies currently visible to your or allied assets. Patrols move to last-known positions and rescan on arrival.
- Class-aware engagement: S/M patrols delegate L/XL and station threats to destroyers; L/XL engage directly. The Engage All Enemies toggle overrides this per ship.
- Smart capital handoff: selects the nearest available L/XL not already fighting, retreating, or resupplying. Alerts the player if none are available (2-min cooldown).
- Destroyers responding to capital calls travel uninterrupted until the target is engaged or leaves the sector.
- Relentless pursuit (with leash): with Pursue Targets on, patrols chase through highways and visibility loss, limited to the home cluster (+2 sectors). Prevents destroyers from chasing fighters across half the map.
- Intel dispatch only assigns ships currently inside their patrol sector; transiting patrols are ignored.
- No over-dispatch: ships already attacking or recently assigned (within 5 minutes) are not re-sent.
- Outmatched patrols (enemy weight > own ร 1. 5) call in 1โ2 nearby idle peers.
- Station defense is weight-matched: only the force needed is dispatched, preferring destroyers first.
- Ships defending a station are not pulled away by other station alerts.
- Galaxy-wide pirate harassment response (opt-in): when a pirate halts one of your ships, the nearest eligible TRP responder anywhere in the galaxy is dispatched to kill the pirate, then patrols the actual sector for a while. Player-owned victims only.
- Auto-resupply: idle fleet leaders and station-anchored patrols trigger resupply; vanilla cascades to subordinates. Covers hull, ammo,
