Full Quest XP - Remastered

You explore, you level up, and then the quests you saved for later reward you with almost nothing. This mod removes that penalty and lets you tune how fast you level.

What it does

In the base game a quest that is 10 or more levels below Geralt gives only 5 % of its experience. Hearts of Stone quests are even stricter and lose 16 % for every level they are below you.

With this mod a quest below your level gives the same experience it would give at its own level.

On top of that you can set your own pace: multipliers for quest and kill experience, a smooth penalty of your choice for low level quests, and a switch that removes the penalty for low level enemies.

Settings

In the game open Options - Mods - Gameplay:

• []no penalty for low level quests - on by default. Main switch, off = the mod does nothing.[/]

  []quest experience (%) - 10 to 300, default 100. Multiplier for the experience of every quest.[/]

  []own penalty per level below you (%) - 0 to 20, default 0. With 0 a low level quest pays in full. With 5, a quest 6 levels below you pays 70 %, 10 levels below 50 %. A quest never pays less than 5 %.[/]

  []kill experience (%) - 10 to 300, default 100. Multiplier for the experience for killing enemies.[/]

  []no penalty for low level enemies - off by default. In the base game an enemy 10 or more levels below you gives only 2 experience points. With this on it gives what its real strength is worth.[/]

Changes work right away, no restart needed.

What it does not change

• []The difficulty setting still affects experience exactly like in the base game.[/]

  []With the default settings, quests at or above your level and experience for killing enemies are not touched.[/]

  []Experience you already received for finished quests is not changed.[/]

  Installation

  • []Download and unpack the archive.[/]

    []Copy both folders, mods and bin, into your game folder (the one that contains "bin", "content" and "dlc"). Merge the "bin" folder when asked, no game files are overwritten.[/]

    []Start the game.[/]

  If you skip the "bin" folder, the mod still works with the default settings (no penalty for low level quests), only the menu entries are missing.

  Updating from v1. 0. 0: overwrite the old files.

  Uninstall

  Delete mods\modFullQuestXP and these two files:

  bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\modFullQuestXP.xml

  bin\config\base\modFullQuestXP.ini
