Achievement Tracker - Remastered

Description

Press F6 in game to open a list of all 78 achievements (base game, Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine) with their descriptions. Achievements you have earned are shown in green, and the ones the game counts show their progress, for example "Bookworm (18/30)". The title shows the total, for example "Achievements 12 / 78".

The list opens in the same window the game uses for reading books, so it looks like a part of the game. The game is paused while it is open, press Escape to close it.

IMPORTANT - how the tracking works

Scripts cannot read which achievements you have already unlocked on Steam or GOG. The mod keeps its own record inside your save instead:

- Every achievement the game awards while the mod is installed is marked as done.

- Counted achievements show live progress.

This means the list is correct when you START A NEW GAME with the mod installed and play to the end. On an existing save, achievements you earned before installing the mod are not marked (the counted ones still are). The list is per save, it does not show your Steam or GOG profile.

- Progress counters: Axii kills, Aard kills, environment kills, Dragon's Dream, crossbow headshots, bleeding + poison + burning, contract kills without help, potion formulae, bomb formulae, books read, nests destroyed with bombs, kills with own arrows, cows, fast travel points, character level, mutagen slots

- English, or Czech when the game text is set to Czech

- No vanilla script file is replaced

Installation instructions

1. Copy the "mods" folder from the archive into your game folder (the folder that contains "bin", "content" and "dlc").

2. Add the key. Close the game, open Documents\The Witcher 3\input.settings in Notepad and add this line directly under each of these headers:

IK_F6=(Action=ModAchievements)

IK_F6=(Action=ModAchievements)

You can use another key, for example IK_F7 or IK_K. The game must be closed while you edit the file, otherwise it overwrites your change on exit.

To uninstall, delete mods\modAchievementTracker. The lines in input.settings do nothing without the mod.

Requirements

The Witcher 3 Remastered. No other mods are required.

Compatibility

The mod uses script annotations only, so it does not conflict with other script mods. It is compatible with all my other mods: Auto Loot Herbs, Reveal Map POI, Infinite Horse Stamina, Skip Intro Movies, Fast Travel Anywhere and No Level Requirements.
