📋 About This Mod
A tweak that gives the starting leather jacket in SE and PoN a more book-like appearance - that of the Raven armour.
I'm rather content with the state of the two additional modules after going through them in Price of Neutrality and Side Effects FIXES. But I thought it would be nice to change the default armour to something resembling the witcher's attire in the books, specifically the short stories. Side Effects and Price of Neutrality take place during that time, and thankfully the Raven Neutral armour is the closest one can get in vanilla.
The stats are unchanged, so there's no difference in balance. Start a new game (Other Campaigns/SE or PoN and be sure the installation was correct.
Installation:
Installing modifications for the standalone adventures is different from modding the main campaign. it's not enough to put files into Data/Override. Read carefully:
Every player should have the D'jinni editor (installed during the game installation) in their main game folder, even if it's not planned to actively use it.
1) (optional) backup the original m1 and m2 modules, just in case
2) open djinni!.exe in The Witcher/System
3) left upper corner, click open module, choose m1_module.adv (it's Price of Neutrality)
4) when it loads, put my files (they have to be loose, without folders) into Users/User/Appdata/Local/The Witcher/temp/_ResourcesUnpackTmp, press yes when it asks to replace the files
5) if the "save module" option is greyed out, you must fool the editor with adding a change in it. So, click a file and remove/add one letter in any text, save, then revert. Now you'll be able to save the module with my fixes in it
6) do the same for m2_module.adv (Side Effects)
