1. What is this?

Are you tired of original low-detailed sword models?

This mod is for you!

Are you hate the fact, that your freshly crafted meteorite sword looks exactly like your basic Witcher sword?

This mod is for you!

You think that Aerondight, legendary sword which once belonged to a great warrior, should look better than ordinary silver sword?

This mod is for you!

All right folks, after long months of modeling, texturing, testing and bug-fixing I proudly present you my Complete Sword Overhaul.

Features:

• []All swords now have new high quality models.

  []All meteorite and runic swords have unique models.

  []Temerian steel sword, Sword of the Order and Aerondight also have unique models.

  []New, high-detailed scabbards for those of you, who use Scabbard mod.

  []Compatibility patch for Full Combat Rebalance users.

  []Optional icons for RotWW UI.

• Optional HD textures.

  2. Installation.

  0) IMPORTANT!!!

  If you are using any of my previous sword mods (6 steel swords, Aerondight, Glamdring, Temerian steel sword, Witcher steel sword, TW2 Silver sword) - delete it. I have changed mods folder structure for easier management and compatibility with other popular mods, so these are now potential conflicts.

  1) Extract  z_zSwords_DM folder to your Witcher/Data directory.

  2) Download Scabbard mod compatibility patch, extract z_zSwords_DM folder to your Witcher/Data directory, OVERWRITE CONFLICTING FILES!

  3)  Download FCR compatibility patch, extract z_zSwords_DM folder to your Witcher/Data directory, OVERWRITE CONFLICTING FILES!

  4) Install HD textures.

  If you are using both Scabbard mod AND FCR, install compatibility patches EXACTLY in this order.

  Beginning of a new game is NOT required, but recommended.

  If you are using new UI from Rise of the White Wolf Enhanced Edition - download optional RotWW icons, extract them to your Witcher/Data, overwrite confclicting files. This can be installed at any point after the main file.

  If you, for whatever reason, don't like silver sword model from the Witcher 3 - old TW2 model is available as optional download. Install it after the main file, overwrite conflicting files.

  3. Known issues.

  Grease effects didn't show up properly on the new models, so I removed them.

  Magic glow from the runes on the Aerondight may randomly dissappear for few seconds. Don't know what causes it, looks like engine issue so I can't fix it at this time. Consider it "weird magic stuff" ;)

  If you will continue your game from existing save, Sword of the Order, Aerondight, meteorite and runic swords which are already in your inventory will have wrong models. Freshly crafted or found ones should work fine.

  4. Credits.

  CD Projekt RED - mod uses some model and texture parts from The Witcher 2& 3.

  I want to say HUGE THANKS to all modders, who allowed me to use their assets in this mod. Without them, it would've took YEARS for me to complete this project.
