📋 About This Mod

Description in English:

With the author's permission, I present you an update for the legendary Wearable Pocket Items mod. Added the NG version, as well as many improvements and fixes.

ATTENTION! Completely remove any NON-Redux version before installing!

I won't give a full description of the mod here – you can read it on the original page. Only changes from the original will be listed here.

- A sphere that appeared around Geralt when playing some visual effects (hitting to the basic Quen, invisibility, and some others). This won't happen again.

- Items that hang in the air after switching from Geralt to Ciri. This won't happen again.

- Items will now hide if Geralt has an invisibility effect.

- Improved performance when equipped with a magic lamp (but this is not accurate).

Improvements

- Geralt's clothing/undress will now be checked not only in cutscenes, but also in gameplay. There will no longer be a situation where Geralt undressed during the game, but still remained hung with items.

- Items will now be hidden if Geralt is wearing normal clothing instead of armor.

- If you change any mod settings, they will be applied immediately after exiting the pause menu (including the position of bombs).

- New option: you can now choose a specific appearance for both equipped bombs, for example, to make them aesthetically match the color scheme of your armor.

Additionally, this option should be used for bombs from mods, e.g. Time of the Sword and Axe.

- New option: You can now choose whether to hide bombs with spent charges or not.

- New option: display two bombs on the belt if the 2nd slot is empty (or doesn't exist). This is especially actual for NG, where there is only one slot. The second bomb looks like a copy of the bomb in the 1st slot.

- Added display of candle lantern. Thanks to Edg3runnr for the advice!

Note: to switch the lamp display, use in the menu the toggle for torch. I was too lazy to add a new item to the menu, sorry.

Interaction with other mods

- Ard Bombs: added display of 5 new bombs from this mod.

- Hoods/Killing Monsters Cloak: with a new option in the menu, you can hide items in the quick access slots, as well as bombs (if they are position at the back), if you are wearing one of the KM cloaks variants.

- Complete Animations Redux: fixed unnecessary horn sound when drinking potions and beverages during the 'movable' animation.

- Swords and Meditation: compatib

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 170 endorsements and over 34k downloads—clearly a mod people trust.
  • Adds a subtle but immersive touch that makes Geralt feel more grounded in the world.
  • Works for both Classic and Next Gen, so no matter your version, you're covered.

⚠️ Cons

  • Only affects quickslot items—if you rarely use quickslots, you won't see much benefit.
  • Limited to visual holstering—no gameplay changes, so if you want more, this isn't it.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Witcher 3 players who love immersion and want to see Geralt actually carrying the items he uses. Perfect for roleplayers and those who appreciate small details. Skip if you're looking for gameplay overhauls—this is purely cosmetic.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • If you're on Next Gen, make sure you download the correct version—the mod supports both, but they're separate files.
  • Use a mod manager like Vortex to avoid manual file placement errors, especially if you have other mods installed.
  • Test with a quickslot item equipped to see the holstered effect immediately—if it doesn't show, check your mod order.
