📋 About This Mod
As of right now, it does NOT work with 1. 32! Looking at ways to make it compatible, no ETA.
Ever think to yourself, "Why has Geralt stood around for 12 hours waiting for peasants to saunter back into the village? And why are they walking like they just came off stage playing with Oasis!?"
Think that no more!
This mod replaces those dumb scenes with the meditation timelapse from Blood And Wine, complete with new camera angle shots, and new timelapse videos!
Many, many hours of work has gone into this to be a as smooth and seamless as possible, almost entirely restructuring the associated quest phases, recording new videos, editing the scenes and much more. Please, please report any bugs or issues you find, and any potential mod conflicts.
It Includes:
White Orchard - 100%
Velen & HoS - 100%
Skellige - 100%
Correct sword sheathing/no sheathing animation variant - currently the sheathed sword is always silver - 0%
Implement player choice of how long time skips during meditation - Not being worked on yet
As for compatibility, keep an eye out for conflicts in the bundled section of script merger. Please post in the forum thread if you come across any, and I'll look at making patches.
Please note!: This mod won't do anything if you've already cleared the affected abandoned sites. Also, backup your saves before you install. I'm 99. 9% sure that there won't be any issues as I've tested this thoroughly, but it's better to be on the safe side.
Compatible Mods:

Timelapse replaces the default abandoned site clearing cutscene in the base game with the one from Blood and Wine, offering a more cinematic and immersive experience. Ideal for players who want to enhance their vanilla gameplay without adding new content.

- Lightweight and focused—does exactly what it says without bloat
- Breathes new life into a repetitive vanilla cutscene
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects one specific cutscene—limited scope
- Last updated in February 2023—may not be compatible with future game patches
For Witcher 3 players who want to freshen up the vanilla experience without overhaul mods. If you're tired of the same old abandoned site cutscene and want a more cinematic feel, this is for you. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
