📋 About This Mod
Replace splashscreen.bmp by your own image, no more boring RED splash screen while waiting for the engine. Comes in PSD and two BMP.
This is actually not a "mod" but a simple visual trick for aesthetic purpose only. So basically it should work on every version of the game.
Download and unzip "SplashScreenReplacement. ZIP".
INSTRUCTION:
- You should find a "splashscreen.bmp" inside your Witcher 3 installed folder (/The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt/bin/).
- Copy your desired . BMP file in the ZIP and replace your "splashscreen.bmp".
- If you wish to replace it with your own image:
1. Open "splashscreenMOD_TEMPLATE. PSD" in Photoshop.
2. Replace Layer IMAGE* with you image (Image dimension should be 840x526 pixels for UHD/4K screens with Resolution of 3840x2160).
3. Save and replace your "splashscreen.bmp" (I tested using 24-bit BMP format exported from Photoshop CC in 840x526, you can try anything else but I don't guarantee they work).
I'm not the author of the artwork presented here.
