Simple Modern Controller Layout (Attack with RB and RT) for 4.04

This mod is another 4. 04 controller layout that only changes the attack mapping from X and Y to RB and RT and Witcher senses (and blocking in combat) from LT to LB so it feels more like the souls games. Also it creates a shortcut for the inventory on R3 (Right Thumb).

Currently only supports alternative sign casting

The only issue i see with this is that in order to aim properly with throwing bombs you have to use 2 fingers of your right hand, one to hold down X and one to move the camera. Attacking with RB and RT makes up for this in my opinion.

Buttons guide:

RB: RightShoulder, R1

RT: RightTrigger, R2

LB: LeftShoulder, L1

LT: LeftTrigger, L2

Y: Triangle

Specifically it changes:

Y   -> RT

X   -> RB

LT  -> LB

RT  -> LT

RB  -> X

LB  -> Y

RightThumb (R3) to open Inventory

(L3 + R3 to open Photo Mode)

The alternative sign cast also have changed so you have to hold LT instead of RT. To see the specific sign keys just look ingame what it says on the bottom right.

I highly recommend the One for the Road (Quick Save and Quick Load) mod along this one to enable quicksave on controller (by holding the view button). In order to make that mod work you maybe have to use my mod version 1-QuickSave-PhotoMode or 2-Quicksave. They remove the bind when holding view to open the glossary so the mod default bind doesn't conflict with it.

I've added this version of the file, that may help if the others don't work. It includes the One for the Road (Quick Save and Quick Load) modification and also Photo Mode that has to be enabled with Debug Console and Unlocked Photo Mode.

This file might be cleaner than the other 2 and would be my personal recommendation as it should be the best fit for most mod setups.

Installation

Like most other mods that change binds you have to edit input.settings.

IMORTANT:

- With the current version you need to replace all contents of the file with the mod contents. This causes any keybinds that you added yourself (from other mods) to be also replaced. For this reason use at your own risk of other mods (that require keybinds) not working properly, you will have to re-add all your mod binds again.
