Remove New Tag From Books Menu

Available in both Next Gen and Old Gen. (Details of supported versions can be found on the Files page.)

In the vanilla game, books added to the Books Menu are tagged New and placed at the top of the list.

However, since all books in the Books Menu should have been read once, it is unnatural that they have the New tag.

Therefore, this MOD prevents the New tag from being added to books in the Books Menu.

• []Glossaries added directly to the Books Menu by the Witcher Lore Collection are not affected by this mod.

    INSTALLATION

    Automatic Install

    • []Use The Witcher 3 Mod Manager. (I haven't tested it with Vortex. If you installed the mod using Vortex, please follow the instructions from the second step onward in the Manual Install section.)

      []Download the main file and drop it into The Witcher 3 Mod Manager to install.

      []Use Script Merger to merge conflicts with other mods.

    Manual Install
    • []Download the main file, unzip it, and drop the "Mods" folder inside it into your game's main directory. (The game's main directory is the directory where folders such as "bin", "content", and "dlc" are located.)

    Uninstall
    • []Delete files you added to the game.

    Update
    • Method 1: Reinstall
