📋 About This Mod
Obedient Steed makes your horse more compliant. Specifically: if you command your horse to run, it will (except when out of stamina). Bumps in the road, bridges, walls, fences, vegetation, cliffs, water or even busy city centers, it doesn't matter. No longer will Roach (or any horse) suddenly stop for a minor (or major) annoyance.
This does mean that you are now totally responsible: you can run from cliffs, or get booted off when you go into too deep water. You (sadly) and your horse won't take fall damage though, the game doesn't account for this scenario and I don't see any easy/obvious way the change that so far.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 712 endorsements and over 21k downloads.
- Solves two annoying horse-related frustrations in one mod.
- Lightweight gameplay tweak that doesn't overhaul other mechanics.
⚠️ Cons
- Only two features—if you wanted more horse improvements, this won't cover them.
- Last updated in 2023, so may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim patches.
- No documentation on potential conflicts with other horse mods.
For Skyrim players who hate when their horse gets stuck on rocks or forced to crawl through cities. If you're a horse-riding enthusiast who wants smoother travel without a full overhaul, this is for you. Skip if you're looking for new horse breeds or combat changes.
