Did anybody else notice how low-poly the birds were in the game ?
Well, I was inspired by Halk's work with the HDRP mod and decided to make a mod to improve likewise the birds of the Witcher 3! Of course this mod doesn't cover all in-game birds as that isn't necessary. The owl, shallow, etc all have good quality models, but the 4 particular birds that this mod covers were drastically downgraded and reduced in visual quality because they spawn in swarms during gameplay and they were too taxing for the console systems of the era.
My work was two-fold:
1st, I reworked the 3D models of the birds enhancing them about 4X in general and adding the sorely missing legs so that birds could once again land back on earth.
2nd, I improved, sharpened, added more detail and enlarged to 2K the original textures that were extremely low in resolution, paying particular attention to the eyes and making the birds more life-like.

]Mod should be compatible with all other mods as nobody has ever cared enough to work and improve on the birds so there should be no conflicts[]Merge away if you need/prefer AND if you encounter long loading times, black screens, game fails to start - those are all issues of the infamous W3 mod limit!!!
