📋 About This Mod
I made this mod because it was a popular request and I was surprised it wasn't done before (I haven't been able to find it in the searches) given how simple it is.
Installation:
1. Download the file;
2. Extract the folder modCidarianNoCircle into /The Witcher 3/Mods/ folder (if it doesn't exist, create one)
3. Launch the game.
Uninstallation:
1. Remove modCidarianNoCircle from the Mods folder.
A small cosmetic mod that removes the armpit circle shield from the Cidarian, Halbedier, Oathbreaker, and Thyssen armors. For players who prefer a cleaner look without the circular detail. Simple and effective, with 286 endorsements.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 286 endorsements and over 7,000 downloads
- Simple, focused fix for a specific visual annoyance
- Works on multiple armor sets in one mod
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2018 — may not be compatible with newer game versions
- Only removes the circle; no other changes or options
- No screenshots or detailed description provided by author
For players who find the armpit circle on these armors visually distracting and want a cleaner look. Skip if you want more substantial armor overhauls or if you're on a newer game version where compatibility is uncertain.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple mesh/texture replacement, manually drop the files into your Data folder or use a mod manager for easy uninstall.
- Check if the mod is compatible with your game version, as it was last updated in 2018.
- If you use other armor mods that alter these sets, load order may matter — place this mod after them to ensure the change applies.
