📋 About This Mod

A unique medium armor longcoat created to my tastes. This is probably the single biggest reason I learned witcher 3 modding(and boy, is this game a bitch to mod). Heavily modified version of Dettlaff's coat with functional looking witcher shit. In terms of stats, it's around the area of a superior witcher chest piece.

For anyone concerned about armor level, I can't really say because I play with W3EE where gear levels are completely irrelevant. Even though the creation process of this mod left my soul hollow, I'm happy with the results and hope can enjoy it.

Location

Can be bought from the armorer at Kaer Trolde

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Huge community love – 4,554 endorsements and 105k downloads show this armor is a fan favorite
  • Fits the wandering witcher vibe perfectly – a longcoat that screams 'I've seen some stuff'
  • Lightweight addition – just a cosmetic armor set, no gameplay overhaul needed

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2018 – might not be compatible with the latest game patches, so check before installing
  • Only one armor set – if you wanted a full wardrobe, this isn't it
🎯 Is This For You?
For Witcher 3 players who want their Geralt to look like a seasoned drifter without overhauling the game. If you're into lore-friendly cosmetics and don't mind a bit of uncertainty about current compatibility, this is a solid pick. Skip if you need gameplay changes or multiple armor options.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since it's an older mod, check the comments for any compatibility patches or known issues with the current game version.
  • If you're using a mod manager, let it handle the file placement to avoid overwriting other armor mods.
  • Look for the armor in your inventory or crafting menu – if it's not there, verify the mod is enabled and load order is correct.
