Badgers Valheim Skies

Overview

Badgers Valheim Skies allows you change the sky textures of Valheim with high quality images. Turn your day and night sky into something breathtaking. It is a work in progress and more features will be added in the future.

How To Install

Download the mod and extract the contents into your Bepinex/plugins folder. You can locate this folder by right clicking on Valheim in Steam, then click on Manage -> Browse Local Files. From there open the BepinEx folder and then plugins.

Installing skybox textures

This mod has been developed in conjunction with the modder Panoc. He has created some truly amazing textures to liven up your Valheim sky. You can find these textures here -> HD Skies for Valheim. To install them navigate to your plugins folder as detailed above and extract the contents of the archive there. The files will automatically go into the correct folders for my mod.

How To Use The Mod

While in game press the H key on the keyboard to bring up the Valheim Skies menu. If you installed the mod and textures successfully you should see the skybox textures listed in the menu. Simply click on them to change the sky textures. Please be aware that the process of loading and applying the images can take several seconds and it may appear that the game has frozen. Please be patient during this time.

Once you have the new sky textures working, you may find that they are being obscured by the big Yggrasil tree in the sky, and maybe even the clouds. If that's the case don't worry, the mod also gives you the ability to modify the density of the cloud cover, and to hide the Yggdrasil tree. You can find these options in the Environment section of the menu.

Mod Configuration

You can change the shortcut key for opening the mod menu in the configuration file located within Bepinex/Config. Just follow the steps as above to get to your Valheim game folder. Then go into Bepinex, then Config. Open the file named Badgers. ValheimSkies.cfg to make the changes.
