FAQ:
Q: Will this work with the Ultra Glide Swim Charge Fins from More Modified Items?
A: Yes, this mod is fully compatible with the Ultra Glide Swim Charge Fins.
Q: Will this charge loose batteries in my inventory?
A: Not by default but there is a config option in the mod menu options to enable just such a functionality.
Q: I've got swim charge fins on but nothing in my inventory is charging?
A: This is usually the result of using the Seaglide which as you're constantly discharging it via use and constantly recharging it via swim charge. The mod will never move on to charge your inventory items as the held item always takes priority.

SwimChargeInventory (Legacy) is a small gameplay mod for Subnautica that makes Swim Charge Fins (and Ultra Glide Swim Charge Fins from More Modified Items) charge your inventory tools when you're not holding a tool or when your held tool is fully charged. It's a quality-of-life tweak for players who want to keep spare tools topped up while swimming.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Handy QoL tweak—no more swapping tools to charge them, just swim around with fins on.
- Works with the popular More Modified Items mod, so it fits into a modded setup.
- Decent community support with 397 endorsements and over 12k downloads.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020—might not work with the latest Subnautica patches or other mods.
- Only affects charging when you're not holding a tool or your held tool is full—doesn't change charging speed or capacity.
- Requires the base Swim Charge Fins from the game, so it's useless if you haven't unlocked those yet.
For Subnautica players who use Swim Charge Fins and hate manually swapping tools to recharge them. If you're running More Modified Items, this is a must-have QoL addon. Skip if you want deeper gameplay changes—this is purely a convenience tweak.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have Swim Charge Fins unlocked in the game before installing—this mod only works with them.
- If you use More Modified Items, install that mod first so the Ultra Glide fins are recognized.
- Since it's a legacy mod, check your Subnautica version and test in a save you don't mind losing if it conflicts.
