📋 About This Mod
This is a simple mod that does what it says. I understand there was at least one mod that did this, but there doesn't seem to be any actively maintained at the moment.
Upgrade modules are craftable at the Cyclops' onboard crafting station.
Upgrade modules are stackable like the Seamoth counterpart, so the more you have the faster the charging.
Upgrade modules cost 1 Advanced Wiring Kit and 3 Enameled Glass (can be changed in the config).

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community approval (237 endorsements) and over 16k downloads.
- Fills a real gap—no more babysitting power cells on long surface trips.
- Lightweight and focused; does exactly what it says without bloat.
⚠️ Cons
- Only works in sunlight, so deep dives still drain batteries normally.
- Last updated in late 2025; if Subnautica updates, it might break until patched.
For Subnautica players who spend a lot of time on the surface and hate swapping power cells. Also great for anyone who wants a small convenience without overhauling the game. Skip if you prefer survival challenge over QoL tweaks.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the Cyclops upgrade console built before installing the module.
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex, let it handle the install to avoid folder mistakes.
- Test the module in Creative mode first to see how fast it charges before committing to a survival run.
