Life caught up and i'm very busy finding a new job, this is taking up alot of time and energy preventing me from working on the mod at the moment. Things are looking good in finding that new job, but it keeps eating up my time. I said hopefully christmas I was able to update and fix some issues but that did not work out. I hope to find the time before the end of february to fix the little stuff left. Luckily the update did not break anything.

So many structural modules, yet so many restricted positions.

Ship Module Snap Expansion (SMSEX) adds 268 new snap positions for existing structural modules in Starfield, expanding ship-building possibilities. With 719 endorsements and 39,126 downloads, it's a popular quality-of-life mod for ship builders seeking more customization options.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust: 719 endorsements and 39k downloads show it's a go-to for ship builders
- No new modules to learn—just more snap points on stuff you already use
- Simple concept, big impact: 268 extra positions means way more design freedom
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in December 2023—might not be compatible with the latest Starfield patches
- Only affects structural modules, so if you're into habs or weapons, this won't help you
For Starfield ship builders who feel limited by the default snap points and want more creative freedom. If you're into min-maxing ship stats or just want more visual variety, this is a must-have. Skip if you rarely build ships or prefer vanilla constraints.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a mod for Starfield, make sure you've enabled mods in the game's settings and consider using a mod manager like Vortex for easy installation.
- Test the new snap points in the ship builder with a cheap ship first to see how they work before committing to a complex design.
- If you're on PC, check if the mod requires the Starfield Script Extender (SFSE) or any other dependencies—though none are listed, it's worth checking the mod page for updates.
