Auto Perspective Switch

A mod to switch to first person perspective when the player aims down sights, will revert back to third person only if the camera was in third person before aiming down sights.

The mod will start disabled, you need to go into "Gameplay Options" menu, find "Auto Perspective Switch" in the list and set it to how you want it to work. Settings are:

DISABLED

Default setting, means nothing will happen when the player aims down sights.

ONLY SCOPES

Camera automatically switches to first person ONLY when the weapon has a scope on it. Useless for the vanilla game, will only make a difference if you are using a mod to remove the scope overlay.

EXCLUDING SCOPES

Camera automatically switches to first person IF the weapon does not have a scope. Recommended for people who are using vanilla scopes and want to switch to first person camera automatically even when not using scopes.

ENABLED

Camera automatically switches to first person no matter what weapon/sight is used.

KNOWN ISSUES:

Third person camera distance will always default to closest one as if the player just swapped between first and third person because that is exactly what happens when the player aims down sights and then stops aiming. I don't know of a way to record the camera distance and revert back to it with papyrus.
