📋 About This Mod
The people in Pelican Town have a tradition when the year begins.
Wishing for good blessings by sending tokens in sky lanterns!
The Ferngill Department of Culture is trying its best to bring back this tradition to the valley.
List of compatibilities~
---- Recolours ----
Uses vanilla tilesheets to make the map, so it should be recolour friendly :3
---- Festival Adding Mods ----
Should not interfere with them ^^
---- SVE ----
Yes, it should work with SVE.
Idk about SVE lore so I won't be adding specific dialogue regarding to it.
Make sure to use GMCM so you can check your configs easier~
Read carefully!
---- Buff Modification ----
Luck: Change the luck buff provided by Lucky Meal buff.
(Default is 4)
Fishing: Change the defense and attack buffs provided by Jade Fish buff.
(Default is 5)
Spoilers for the mod ahead, continue with precaution.
---- Starlight Celebration Festival ----
A new festival that happens on Spring 2 from Year 2 onwards.
It takes place in a version of the summit (so you must head to the railroad for the festival).
You can have the chance to talk to some mysterious kitties (If you know Mirin then they may look familiar!)
Who can offer you a choice for a token blessing.
(One particular blessing is only available if you have Cloudy Skies and More Nightly Events)
Or if you want to donate some money!
(Some higher donations may lead to some villagers noticing and loving your contributions!)
(Higher donations unlock upon your money availability the day of the festival!)
BUT BEWARE!
You can only talk to the kitties once!
So make sure you are certain about your choices.
(This is due to limitations for Festivals, I cannot fix yet...)
---- Starlight Celebration Shop ----
Pierre has some goods for sale!
If you get a Joja Membership, Pierre is a little upset and will double the prices...
Fortune Cake
95% chance to get a luck buff upon eating!
Buff duration is all-day and the luck is configurable.
Sold for 10,000g.
Only 1 available.
Golden Truffle
95% chance to find some money upon eating!
Quantity can range from 5 (very common) to 50000!
Sold for 10,000g.
Only 1 available.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved: 104 endorsements and nearly 58k downloads show it's well-liked.
- Recently updated (June 2026) — likely compatible with current game version.
- Simple concept: a new festival adds replay value without overhauling the game.
⚠️ Cons
- Only one festival added — if you're expecting a big content pack, this is a small addition.
For Stardew Valley players who want a bit of extra seasonal flavor and enjoy discovering new events. Perfect for those who've played through the first two years and want something fresh. Skip if you're looking for major content overhauls — this is a small, cute addition.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have SMAPI installed — most Stardew Valley mods require it, though not explicitly stated here.
- The festival triggers on Spring 2 of Year 2, so you'll need to play through the first year to see it.
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex, it should handle installation automatically — otherwise, drop the mod folder into your Mods directory.
