Rekindle - A Kent and Jodi Event Expansion

Like many of the vanilla non-romanceable characters, Jodi and Kent are both fairly one-note characters. Rekindle aims to give them more depth and characterisation by adding three new event storylines: one for Kent and his recovery process, one for Jodi and her desire to grow beyond the role of 'mother', and one for their relationship together.

• []12 new events: 4 for Kent, 3 for Jodi, and 5 combined

  []Post-event schedule changes for Jodi and Kent so that they visit their friends, spend couple time together, and enjoy their hobbies

  []Over 140 lines of new schedule-based and post-event reaction dialogue

  []Post-event vanilla dialogue edits to reflect character growth

  []A new part-time job for Kent

  This mod can be installed in an existing save game (particularly if you are still in Year 1 and haven't met Kent yet), but likely will not have the intended progression if you are already above 6 hearts with Jodi and/or Kent. Rekindle's content will not start until you have seen Kent's 3 heart event and the next event in each chain won't trigger until a certain amount of time has passed (see the event guide for further details).

  The farmer is not present in the majority of these events and has very few choices to make. There is no romance content between the farmer and Jodi or Kent. This is not a homewrecker mod.

  This mod requires Kent Gets Therapy - 3 Heart Event Edit.

  Compatibility

  Rekindle includes compatibility with the following mods:

  []Jorts and Jean the Helper Cats: If Jorts & Jean are installed, Rekindle's Therapy event will also require having seen J&J's side event involving Kent. It makes minor edits to this event so that it requires having seen Kent's vanilla 3 heart event for a smoother story progression.

  []Kent Does the Dishes: Rekindle's schedule edits will adjust to Kent Does the Dishes's changes and work seamlessly together.

  []Canon-Friendly Dialogue Expansion: If CFDE is installed, Rekindle will also edit some of its dialogue lines for Jodi, Kent, and Sam after seeing the appropriate events to reflect Rekindle's character development.

  []Diverse Stardew Valley and No More War - Kent as Journalist: Rekindle does not make any direct mention of Kent's role in Gotoro, so it is compatible with DSV and No More War's edits to his vanilla storyline
