About Eugene

Eugene is a gentle soul living in solitude amongst his flowers. Though anxious about meeting the new farmer, he appreciates the company.

He spends his time tending to the garden, baking, and experiencing the occasional existential crisis about the transience of happiness.

• []Is a new, fully romanceable and marriageable NPC with around 200 lines of dialogue, including custom responses to birthday gifts and receiving a Bouquet or Mermaid's Pendant

  []Has a Spouse Room, Spouse Patio and Spouse Portrait if you decide to marry him

  []Is present in every vanilla festival (although for one you might need to reach him through other means...)

  []Has a total of 10 heart events, ranging from 0 to 14 hearts

  []Has his house visible in the World Map, compatible with VPR, Earthy, Starblue, and Retro Recolor.

Schedule and Gift Tastes

Eugene lives in Cindersap Forest, south of Marnie's Ranch and past the river, away from everyone else. You can usually find him either inside or outside his house, taking care of his flowers. If you have SVE, his house is instead under the pond, closer to the Wizard's Tower.

Most days he'll stay inside his house in the morning, working around his garden, and he'll go tend the flowers outside in the afternoon. By sunset he'll be back inside his room.

During Friday evenings he goes to visit a certain friend that also lives in the forest, and on Sunday nights he visits the Graveyard in Pelican Town.

When it comes to gifts, flowers are your best bet! Most baked goods are also a good idea. Things like monster loot and poisonous items, on the other hand, aren't exactly something you should be gifting to a gardener.
