📋 About This Mod
Adds a new dialogue option to the hardwood bed event and the tomato event. Keeps all the vanilla dialogue except the immediate reactions to the farmer's response.
I've always disliked the way the farmer is forced to give a no-nuance definite answer that sides with one or the other of them, either sounding stupid / like an asshole or making the other one of them sound stupid / like an asshole. Now you have a third option! Demetrius is overall a reasonable and logical person, it's just that his brain works in a different way - most of the time he comes to the same reasonable logical situationally appropriate responses as anyone else would, but when he makes mistakes they are occasionally like this, entirely out of the left field. And Robin is irritable and takes things personally and doesn't take the time to trace his train of thought.
In this version, Demetrius apologizes to Robin about the bed after she points out that the inefficiency is temporary while the beauty is permanent... and they both apologize to each other about the tomato. Jeez, you two.
(I really think they're the most harmonious couple in town, other than maybe George and Evelyn. They don't just hang out together because they live in the same house, they watch the ocean from the cliff near their house together and they go to dance in the saloon together. When Robin tries on a new outfit in Emily's heart event, her first thought is to go show Demetrius. They are clearly good friends, they are just... like this, sometimes)
This mod is built with i18n, though the way events are stored in SDV is wacky enough that I give any translators my condolences in advance. I haven't even made Russian and Ukrainian version of this yes, because just no.
Includes config - changes to either event can be switched off!
