While walking through the secret woods, you stumble across a hidden path... What secrets might it hold? What treasures might lie within? Find out by exploring, but make your choices wisely!

This mod adds a unique repeatable choose-your-own-adventure event in the secret woods where you can explore, make choices, and decide your path forward. Featuring 14 areas and dozens of interactions for tons of replayability, it's impossible to encounter all of the content in one trip, so you'll need to return each year for another shot at seeing everything the woods have to offer!

To get started, enter the secret woods on a sunny or windy day in fall with at least two clear spaces in your bag. Once you've finished your walk, you'll need to come back in the following year to find it again!

If you find the secret path but aren't quite ready yet, you can head back home in your first choice; this will allow you to come back the next day instead of missing your chance for the year.

Configuration

This mod has two configuration options:

• - Mystery Mode: By default when this option is turned off, the narration will give you descriptive hints about what lies on the paths ahead before you make your choice. Turn this option on to remove this hints for an added challenge!

  - Repeatable Event: On by default, this option determines whether the event can be repeated each year or whether it will only play once. Turn this option off if you feel like you've seen enough or if you want an added challenge of only being able to make one journey!

Compatibility

This mod should be compatible with all other mods since it uses its own maps rather than using the regular secret woods map. It may however look a little odd with recolour and/or retexture mods, particularly recolours with green fall options, as it uses some custom art assets.

A Secret Forest Walk is compatible with Simple Foliage (it uses the vanilla colouration) and Vanilla Tweaks - Farming!
