Wealthy Merchants (SPID)

This mod adds extra gold to selected merchants in Skyrim so they have more money to buy your junk. There are two levels of wealth - 'rich' and 'well-off', with rich merchants being less common.

Rich merchants have 5000 extra gold and well-off merchants have 1500 extra gold (you can change this in the ini file to whatever you want). Lucan in Riverwood is one of the rich merchants so you can get off to a good start by selling early gear to him.

The gold is distributed using SPID and can be easily configured to add or remove merchants from the list, or change the amount of gold they have. To change the amount of gold there are two lines that can be changed. Open the folder where the mod is installed and open SPIDWealth_DISTRI.ini in a text editor such as Notepad and find the following lines;

Item = 0000000F~Skyrim.esm|TypeRichMerchant|NONE|NONE|NONE|5000|100

Item = 0000000F~Skyrim.esm|TypeWellOffMerchant|NONE|NONE|NONE|1500|100

Then simply change the 5000 or 1500 to whatever figure you like. Bear in mind if you give merchants too much gold it can break things.

To add or remove merchants from the list, simply add or remove their name from the lines that start with 'keyword ='

For example if you want Ysolda to be rich, add her name to this line, with a comma;

Keyword = TypeRichMerchant|Belethor,Elrindir,Betrid Silver-Blood,Thonar Silver-Blood,Thongvor Silver-Blood,Nurelion,Babette,Lucan Valerius,Ysolda

To remove any NPC from the list just delete their name, ensuring there is still a comma between each NPC.

As SPID is an SKSE plug-in you can add or remove the mod at any time and it should be compatible with pretty much anything.

To install, use your mod manager of choice or just unzip and drop the files into your Skyrim data directory.
