Mercedes Gutiérrez was an accomplished cat burglar.

Trained from childhood to walk silently as she used shadows and terrain for concealment, the glamorous young blonde loved nothing better than stealing a wealthy woman's best jewelry as the unsuspecting lady slept soundly in her bed.  Mercedes lived for the thrill of the caper.  To help her remain silent, she always donned her close-fitting "cat suit" before she slipped into the darkness of night.  Once at her destination, she'd silently scale a home's exterior wall, quietly open an upper-floor window, slip through that window like a cat, then ghost through the night-darkened home until she found the correct bedroom.  After silently opening the bedroom door, she'd ease unheard into the rich lady's room and intuitively locate the sleeping woman's hidden jewelry box.  Once she had it, she'd place it on the floor and silently open the lid, then she'd carefully pick through its contents.  She only pocketed the best pieces of jewelry.  Once she was finished making her selections, she'd silently exit the home the way that she'd entered.

Processing through Skyrim like Royalty, she payed round-robin visits to all of the best towns and cities.  Because of her beauty, regal presence, and the superior quality of her wardrobe, she never lacked for social invitations from the nobility and gentry.  It was through attending their gala dinner parties - and through spending weeks-long stays as their houseguest - that Mercedes was able to discover who owned what fine pieces of jewelry.

Always cautious and never greedy, she slipped into her cat suit and became a cat burglar only whenever an irresistible opportunity presented itself.  Fortunately for her, these opportunities came about with delightful regularity.  This wa
