📋 About This Mod
Short and simple this time.
Well, this basically does what it says on the tin. ;)
These are just a collection of patch INI's I made for some of the lesser known quest, new lands and boss mods out there; all of which aren't getting much attention in terms of TDM/TrueHUD support ('twas a pain in the ass to look at each NPC formid individually believe me). These include bosses that will be encountered from mods such as: Beyond Reach, Colorful Magic, Midwood Isle, Ravengate - Riften Underground Arena, and the Here There Be Monsters series of mods (Part I, Call of Cthulhu and Sign of Cipactli).
I'm going to post some shots of the INI's in action mixed with some shots of the bosses from these mods in question because I really think they don't get enough attention and love!
That's pretty much it! If y'all feel like I missed some bosses or added bars to NPCs that y'all don't think should be bosses, just leave me a comment and I'll try to address it ASAP! Thank you and I hope you enjoy!
GV's TrueHUD Boss Bar Integration adds boss bars to enemies from popular quest and new lands mods like Colorful Magic, Beyond Reach, Ravengate, Midwood Isle, and Here There Be Monsters. This UI enhancement is for Skyrim players using TrueHUD who want consistent boss fight feedback across modded content. With 466 endorsements and 338k downloads, it's a well-received quality-of-life addition.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 466 endorsements and 338k downloads—clearly fills a need.
- Works across several major quest mods, so you get one fix for multiple games.
- Lightweight UI tweak that doesn't change gameplay, just makes boss fights clearer.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in March 2022—might not cover newer versions of those quest mods or TrueHUD updates.
- Requires TrueHUD and the listed quest mods to be useful, so it's not a standalone install.
- No detailed patch notes or compatibility list beyond the mod names, so you'll need to test with your load order.
For Skyrim players who use TrueHUD and have installed any of the listed quest or new lands mods, and want boss fights to feel more epic with proper boss bars. Skip if you don't use TrueHUD or those specific mods—this won't do anything for you.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure TrueHUD is installed and active before adding this mod, and load this mod after TrueHUD in your mod manager.
- If you have multiple quest mods from the list, this integration should cover all of them—no need to pick just one.
- Check the mod page for any compatibility notes with other UI mods, but generally it's safe to add to an existing load order.
