Troubleshooting
If you selected dark background option for the icons and it's not appearing correctly in-game, you have a UI mod changing tab menu transparency. In the mod Dear Diary Dark Mode for example, check interface/deardiary_dm/config.txt and look for fTabMenuAlpha, it should be 100 (fTabMenuAlpha = 100)
To hide the message "x to open skill menu for controller" for custom skill menu options:
In the mod Custom Skills Menu folder, go to interface\MetaSkillsMenu
open MSM_FLASH_SETTINGS.json
set hide hint to 1
