Adjustable Prices with Real Customer Reactions

Retro Rewind has a lot of great management systems, but one thing it never really gave the player was a proper pricing system. This mod fixes that.

Adjustable Prices with Real Customer Reaction lets you set your own prices for rentals, snacks, drinks, concessions, toys, and supported fees instead of being locked to the game's vanilla values.

This is not just a cheat menu. Customers actually react to your prices. The result is a system where pricing becomes a genuine management decision instead of a free-money button.

What It Does

You can adjust prices through a new Pricing section on the in-game computer.

Prices can be adjusted in $0. 25 increments. Your chosen prices are saved and persist with your game.

Customers React to Pricing

Customer demand changes based on how far your price is from the original vanilla value. Customers will react accordingly to the prices you set. Some customers prefer more expensive items, some customers prefer the cheapest they can get. Some don't care either way. This fuzziness will provide randomness but still follow a logical system. Try to avoid either extreme when setting your prices. But, you still have the freedom to choose your own store value. Got a new release coming out on a special holiday? Take out some advertisement, get all three bonuses at once, then raise your prices up. Now you're dealing with a regular sell rate, but you're making a lot more money. Or, have a certain movie type that's just not selling? Lower the price on it. This means there is no single obvious "best" price. The goal is to find the balance that works for your store and your playstyle.

Checkout Uses Your Real Prices

The mod does not simply change what the pricing screen displays.

Custom prices are carried all the way through the checkout system.

That includes: Product prices shown during checkout, Final transaction totals, Customer payment, Cash-register display,  Change calculation, Money actually earned by the player.

Customers no longer give extra money. Example: A $20 charged will not be paid with $25.

Requirements

You will need to have installed UE4SS for Retro Rewind.

Simply extract the main mod into your main game directory. If you want to do it manually, then go into your game folder, select RetroRewind, Binaries, Win64, ue4ss, Mods, and then install it into the Mods folder.
