Gothic Horror Depth Cinematic ReShade

This preset aims to strongly influence your gaming experience, introducing a heightened sense of unease and dread.

  []I recommend avoiding interlaced rendering since I'm uncertain how depth of field interacts with it. In my previous presets, which also relied on depth of field, I advised against interlaced mode due to issues with the Cinematic DOF effect in Resident Evil Village.

  []For this preset, I’ve switched to ADOF, and after extensive testing, I can confidently say it performs well. One interesting observation: as you exit through a doorway, everything behind you blurs beautifully. Once fully outside, the game refocuses on the new scene, mimicking human eye behavior.

Installation Instructions:

• []Download the preset and shaders.

  []Place the files in the main game folder. You can locate this folder by right-clicking on Resident Evil Village in Steam, selecting Browse Local Files, and then placing the files there.

  []Don’t forget to download and install ReShade for your game. If you're unfamiliar with the process, tutorials are readily available.
