📋 About This Mod

Hey everyone, welcome! Sorry for the slight delay ReShade didn’t want to work right at launch, which caused a bit of a setback. However, we’ve got RE Framework up and running now and everything is working as it should.Make sure to check

Alright, here we go 👇

Starting off  this preset is not for people who like smooth colors and a super clean look. It’s made for absolute fans of a dirty, gritty, cinematic style.

For now, I’m including the FULL effects version, but I’m planning to add more variants soon:

  • []a color-only version

    []a performance-friendly version

    []dedicated HDR versions

At the moment, the key requirement is having RE Framework installed, because it’s what fixes the crashing issues caused by ReShade. Thanks to it, you can use both ReShade and the preset normally without problems.

Regarding performance  yes, the preset can be demanding, but it really depends on your in-game settings. The biggest FPS drops will obviously happen with Path Tracing enabled. No matter how amazing that feature looks, it absolutely destroys performance. A lot depends on your hardware, so be realistic  don’t enable options your PC can’t handle smoothly and stably.

On my RTX 5070 Ti, playing with Path Tracing enabled, the preset can put a solid load on the system and sometimes stability can dip  but I’m running absolutely everything maxed out, DLSS on Quality, and I’m also using MFG. I did notice that when using MFG together with the preset, the screen may flicker slightly during heavy performance drops  but that only happens during strong FPS dips, so it’s rare. I also haven’t noticed any major VRAM spikes when activating the preset. Sometimes it may use around 400MB more VRAM, which is completely normal considering the number of effects applied.

To sum up installation requirements:

  • []You currently need REFramework by praydog2, because without it ReShade won’t work properly.

[]You need ReShade, preferably version 6. 7. 2 (slightly older versions may work, but I generally recommend the latest available version).

[]Then just drop the files into the main game directory. For Steam, that’s usually:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL requiem BIOHAZARD requiem

And that’s basically it.

If you run into any issues with installation or performance, let me know  I’ll gladly help.

I also encourage you to check out my DeviantArt, where I’ll be posting new screen compositions regularly now that we have full access to the necessary tools for taking proper shots. You can also join my DISCORD  it’s not huge yet, but if you want better communication regarding issues or just have questions, feel free to jump in.
