OK, let’s move on to the preset itself. For now, it comes in two versions that I’ve included.

The first one is the FULL version, designed to really hit your eyes with strong cinematic effects, sharpening, lighting work, and overall optical processing. Because of that, it is extremely demanding. I would recommend using it on stronger PCs. On my setup (RTX 5070 Ti + Ultra 7 265K) at 5120x1440, I get performance drops of around 50%. The main reason is that I run the game with Path Tracing, because this preset simply looks the best when combined with top-tier lighting like that. So performance will depend heavily on your hardware and the graphics settings you choose.

The performance-focused version is much more modest. It mainly keeps the color grading based on my Custom LUT, along with a few additional touches. I also added one sharpening effect and a tone-mapping adjustment, which still makes the game look very good while remaining perfectly playable. In my case, the performance loss is only about 5 FPS, even with the game completely maxed out.

InstallationThe files I provided should be placed in the main game directory. It’s very simple  just drop them into:

(C:)\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL requiem BIOHAZARD requiem

Make sure you also include the reshade-shaders folder. If you only copy the configuration file, the preset will not work properly — all files must be placed in the directory.
