Nerf Elite (blue and red) enemies - Leon Must Die Forever (LMDF)

Description

Tired of bullet sponge enemies in Leon Must Die Forever? Elites in LMDF have a big hidden damage reduction that makes them soak absurd amounts of damage. This mod lets you configure that damage reduction.

Tune it in a REFramework  with a "Remove Damage Reduction" slider in the REFramework menu:

- 0. 0 = vanilla

- 0. 5 = half the reduction removed

- 1. 0 = fully removed (default is 0. 75).

Main features

- C++ plugin - near-zero performance cost, basically free

- Lua only for REFramework settings

- Live, in-game slider via REFramework (no restart to retune)

- Per-elite behaviour preserved: blue elites still reward parrying

Disclaimers

- The plugin (DLL) can't hot-reload like a Lua script - restart the game to swap versions

- Please reach out if you find any bugs

Requirements

Installation instructions

Option A - Fluffy Mod Manager (recommended)

1. Install REFramework (see Requirements) and enable Loose File Loader on first launch

2. Add `nerf_elites_in_lmdf.zip` to Fluffy Mod Manager and enable it

3. Launch the game, start an LMDF run, and tune the slider in the REFramework menu (Nerf Elites in LMDF)

Option B - Manual

1. Install REFramework (see Requirements)

2. Extract `nerf_elites_in_lmdf.zip` and copy both:

- `reframework\plugins\nerf_elites_in_lmdf.dll`

- `reframework\autorun\nerf_elites_in_lmdf.lua`

into the matching folders in your game's `reframework\` directory

3. Launch the game, start an LMDF run, and tune the slider in the REFramework menu (Nerf Elites in LMDF)
