Hatchet (Axe) Durability Upgrade System - Leon Must Die Forever (LMDF) and Story Mode

Description

Leon's hatchet wears down repidly in high difficulties. This mod changes that by adding a durability upgrade system.

Fully configurable from an in-game menu, and it works in both Leon Must Die Forever (LMDF) and the main story.

In LMDF, picking up a green hatchet, or buying Hatchet Repair in the shop, now also increases your hatchet's durability - each one stacks the bonus on top of the normal repair, so your hatchet gets tougher as you collect them.

Installation instructions

Option A - Fluffy Mod Manager:

1. Install REFramework (see Requirements) and enable Loose File Loader on first launch

2. Drop the mod into Fluffy and enable it

3. Launch the game

Option B - Manual:

1. Install REFramework

2. Put hatchet_durability_plugin.dll in reframework/plugins/ and hatchet_durability_hud.lua in reframework/autorun/

3. Launch the game

reframework-d2d is optional - it's only needed for the on-screen counter. The durability boost and config menu work fine without it.
