Immersive Gun Sounds

Description

Experience Red Dead Redemption with a new set of weapon sounds that will keep the atmosphere of the original game alive as much as possible and make every shot feel more powerful and satisfying. The goal is to make the existing weapons sound richer, more satisfying, and more believable while remaining faithful to the game's world 

Installation instructions

Before Installing the sound mod always make back-up of the files you're going to replace. In this case that is: audio_d11generic.rpf.

Installation:

Download  Foxxyy's :MagicRDR

Open MagicRDR and open audio_d11generic.rpf from 'game' folder in your RDR game directory

1. SFX folder

Naviagte to audio>d11generic>sfx>weapons then drag the .awc archives from my mod (Immersive Gun Sounds>sfx>weapons) there, confirming the replacement

2. CONFIG folder

Navigate to audio>d11generic>config and replace the sounds.dat and sounds.dat20, confirming the replacement

Then click File>Save>Current
