Shotgun Sound Overhaul

Mod Description:

I created this mod because I found the original gunshot sounds of all the shotguns in the game to be too weak, so I decided to replace them with sounds from Red Dead Redemption 2.

Mod showcase

Installation.

1. Download and install the latest version of Magic RDR (https://github.com/Foxxyyy/Magic-RDR/releases)

2. Make a backup of the audio_d11generic.rpf file (3. 6 GB) in the RDR folder/game/ directory, in case you decide to uninstall the mod.

3. Run Magic RDR and open audio_d11generic.rpf.

4. In the left pane, navigate to audio/d11generic/sfx/weapons.

5. Right-click in the right pane, then select 'Import Directory'. Choose the location of the extracted mod folder (/sfx/weapons).

When prompted, select Yes to replace 4 files (the replaced files will be highlighted in green).

6. In the left pane, navigate to audio/d11generic/config.

7. Right-click in the right pane and select 'Import Directory'. Choose the location of the extracted mod folder (/config).

When prompted, select Yes to replace 2 files (the replaced files will be highlighted in green).

8. Click File > Save Current, then confirm by selecting Yes.

9 Close MagicRDR and launch the game.
