Talos In the Dark

After the outbreak, many things go bad in the Talos I station...

Now, your flashlight is your best friend

This mod transforms the Talos station, shutting down most of the static lights, keeping in mind that after the outbreak the main power source of lights has a failure, but some screens and lamps that are plugged into alternative power will remaining on and some critic areas of the station that have an emergency alternate power.

• []The flashlight cast shadows for more immersion and is changed to fit the atmosphere (see pictures)

  []The emergency exit signs are all on, and the "alert" lights too.

  []The blinking of usable items is deactivated so you will need to look closely and search well

  []Several enhancements are done on the lights that are on, like volumetric effects and tweaks to lit more the environment when you are hiding from Thypons

  []This mod doesn't change any other aspect of the gameplay but it will be a little bit harder because the low lighting

  []Inside Morgan office, the lights are on like usual

There are a few areas untouched for now (it, bridge, GUTS) but keep in mind that will be areas of the station that surely have alternate power for the important locations (eg the bridge) so it makes sense that those areas will have the power on, having said that I have to work on the arboretum and crew facilities, I'll add them when I can :)

      INSTALLATION:

      • []In the zip file there are folders named to indicate where to put the files, make sure to do a backup of the levels files in case you want to delete the mod.

        []It works whit existing saves but for safety back up your save.

        This mod is compatible whit any mod that doesn't change the level files and the glitconfig, and work great whit my graphics overhaul mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/prey2017/mods/22) note that the screenshots are whit both mods on but you'll get similar results if use only this mod
