Real Lights plus Ultra Graphics Mod

This mod aims to improve the graphics and realism of Prey, the general changes are:

• []All the lights cast shadows, incl flashlight!

• []Corrected shadows for the original light sources.

  []Ultra view distance for everything, incl space station!

  []Improved particles effects.

  []New particles effects.

  []No more pop-in! for textures, shadows, objects, and particles.

  []Improved reflections.

  []Prevents medium size objects become transparent when carrying.

  []All decals (blood, gloo, bullet holes, broken papers, broken glasses, etc) stay almost forever, only disappears when you leave the level.

  []Adds Breakable lights.

  []Adds Volumetric effects to lights.

  []Adds New advanced video settings -Sharpness slider, Weapon FOV slider, Chromatic aberration toggle, Film grain toggle.

  []Adds POM to specifics floors and walls, improves the effects on the ones they already have.

  []Tweaks differents materials for greater detail.

  []Uses only high poly lods and textures for more than 350 environmental and main objects (vegetation, rocks, exterior stations details, npcs, props)

  []Optional file that maintains vanilla style flashlight that cast shadows.

  Important note on V2. 0: It's 2025, LUMA for Prey is a MUST, not a requirement for this mod but fixes important issues with the shaders (like the shadows blurring filter) and adds DLAA, DLSS, HDR, and more great things. This update was made to work the best in conjunction with LUMA, but again it's not a requirement if you don't want to use it.

  • []Shuttle bay now uses the same analytical fog as the other levels (a vanilla bug was causing flickers on level assets) with better sun shafts and fog volumes

    []Spilling oil fire New fxs, new flames refraction, smoke and dinamic ambient light

    []Expanded the interaction of thypons particles with the environment (visually, not gameplay wise)

    []Gibs and gloo pieces that remains on the level reacts to interactions with added particles fxs

    []New fx added for weapons, aliens, robots, environment, materials reactions -all with lore accuracy-

    []Move the balance in favor of physical particles whit less "fake" ones

    []Updated particles on the vast majority of particles FXs taking advantage of new cpus and gpus. General examples are: Expanded and tweaked collition particles, more blood splatters on all directions, better goo shattered pieces collision and physics, many many more tessellated particles, light particles with point lights, no more desapearing fog and mist before crossing it, and lots more!

    []Reshade FX for optimal SDR LUMA config files as an optional addon for SDR users (a starting point to tweak to anyone taste)

  []Added tracking cameras sparks on emp grenades and Thypons interference, augmented reach of tracking, also they can be broken.

  []Now Operators react properly to environmental fire and produced fire, added burning effects. Also, they will evade the fire of a leaking pipe if they can.
