Keep the Palbox border out of the view until you want to see it. Press L to show or hide the loaded borders.

Formerly Palbox Circle Auto-Hide

The name now covers both the vanilla circular border and the square outline used by Square Bases. This is an update to the same mod; keep only one installed copy.

Controls

Borders start hidden with the default configuration. Press L to show them, and press L again to hide them. Scripts/config.lua lets you change ToggleKey or HiddenByDefault while the game is closed.

Circle or square

The visibility toggle works with either shape. It does not change the base's usable area or hide Surveyor's separate planning grid. Use Surveyor's own controls for its planning visuals.

Upgrading

The internal folder remains PalboxCircleAutoHide so this update replaces the existing installation. Do not create an additional Border Auto-Hide mod folder beside it. Save and fully close Palworld before replacing mod files.

Installation and updates

Requires Palworld for Windows and Palworld-specific UE4SS. PalSchema is not required.

Keep one active copy of each mod. If you use a Workshop edition, avoid adding a second manual copy. These are separate standalone downloads; companions are optional.

Compatibility

The square-border combination has been tested in Windows Steam single-player on Palworld 1. 0. 5 with Palworld UE4SS 2281fa31. Earlier circle visibility was also tested client-side on a dedicated server. The new Square Bases multiplayer combination has not been validated. Use only one mod that controls Palbox-border visibility.
