TES4R Civis Go Fish Quest Fix

Not necessarily obsolete but less complex.

Use TES4R Civis SQ 06 07 08 09 Quests Fix instead.

Fix for Slaughterfish spawning all over Lake Rumare. Now they will spawn close to your current position while you are swimming in the lake.

While they are supposed to spawn all over the lake, I made them spawn close to you to make our lives a bit easier while doing this irritating fetch quest.

Probably some of you got enlightened by some guru opinion that the spawning Slaughterfish during Go Fish quest is an engine bug.

Well... not even close.

They are placed in the water by some "spawner" which "spawns" leveled Slaughterfish from a list (player level >= 1, >= 4, >= 8, >= 12, >= 16).

Moreover, the Slaughterfish spawned act like any other fish from this planet or any other planet. They have a very bad habit... to swim. All over the place.

They are not some plastic ducks sitting duck at some entertainment or agricultural fair, waiting to get shot by you or your partner with BFGs (aka Big Pellet Guns) so you...

...could get the big Plushy Bear Prize, which you will get him by the ears during the night while you and your partner are rolling naked all over the carpet.

Long story super short:

The blasted Slaughterfish will spawn near your current location while you are swimming in Lake Rumare and the quest is active.

Installation:

Unzip the fish doomsday inducer into:

YourLocation:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data...

... then add TES4RCivisGoFishQuestFix.esp to your Plugins.txt

1. Buoyancy and Ease Burden will be Novice spells so you could cast them if you don't have Alteration as Major skill.

2. Jewel of the Rumare will grant you Water Walking instead of Water Breathing.

You need Water Breathing spell (+25 in Alteration) to be rewarded with... Water Breathing item. Good show.

At least you can walk on water and kill fish with arrows, if you really want to.
