📋 About This Mod
The vanilla armor sounds felt a little lackluster for me, so I designed some replacements to help make them feel more modern.
This mod replaces the armor footstep sounds for:
1. Heavy armors
2. Light armors
3. Heavy Boots
4. (V1. 1 - replaced Light Boot and barefoot sounds)
KNOWN ISSUES:
Chainmail, Elven, Fur, Glass, Leather and Mithril armors all share the same Light Armor sound. This means you won't hear armor rattles like when wearing Heavy Armor. This is due to the game only having a Light and Heavy footstep sweetener. I have no way to differentiate these armor types yet.
Armor sounds sometimes don't play/trigger. This seems to happen even with vanilla sounds, but I am not 100% sure how to fix just yet.
INSTALLATION
1. Install through Vortex Mod Manager or Mod Organizer 2 OR:
2. Head to .../Oblivion Remastered/OblivionRemastered/Content/Paks/ and create a folder named ~mods and place the .pak file inside.
