📋 About This Mod
Extended Weapon Range (EWR)
The devs reduced the range of most weapons from Vanilla to Remaster, sometimes dramatically. Claymore reach was reduced from 1. 3 to 1. 1, for example, which doesn't sound like a lot. But that is a huge amount, requiring you to basically be right up in your enemy's face. So I went into xEdit and manually adjusted an absurd amount of records, restoring them to their vanilla values. This unfortunately took way, way longer than I would've liked, but afterwards, the combat felt a lot more like it used to!
PLEASE NOTE: There are two versions of the file. EWR main file, and EWR patched with Ascension. Choose ONLY one. If you're using Ascension, use the EWR main with ascension.

Q) Do we need both the main file and the optional one for the deluxe or do we just use the deluxe version?
A) If you have Deluxe edition, then you need just the EWR + Deluxe Edition mod
Q) Which version do I need if I'm using Ascension?
A) Use EWR - Patched for Ascension. DO NOT take this AND the EWR Main file, only one!
Q) How is this mod different than ?
A) My mod is a simple revert to vanilla weapon ranges for almost all weapons. It does not alter ANYTHING else. No damage increase (yet), no extended ranges. That's it. Other mods appear to only alter 2H weapons. I restored anything that was changed from Vanilla
Q) How many items did you update?
A) Roughly ~1,400 items were manually updated, which took an incredible amount of time to achieve since the values were all over the place
Q) Can I use this mod in a mod I'm developing, or in a patch?

Q) Does this include all weapons?
A) I tried to get all of them, but editing over a thousand records is exhausting. Please let me know if I missed any
