📋 About This Mod
This Mod comes in three different versions:
1. Remove Technology Overload
- Increases the maximum number of same tech you can equip from 3 to 9999, effectively removing technology overload
2. Remove Technology Overload Plus
- Increases the maximum number of same tech you can equip from 3 to 9999, effectively removing technology overload
- Added some new UI and boundary fixes for the way the new inventory/UI works and interacts with the mod
- Changed the values of technology and cargo inventories and adapted them for the new inventory/UI, depending
on the class of the used multitool, ship, freighter, etc. Details below.
New technology inventory sizes depending on class:
C class = 30 slots
B class = 40 slots
A class = 50 slots
S class = 60 slots
New cargo inventory sizes depending on class:
C class = 60 slots
B class = 80 slots
A class = 100 slots
S class = 120 slots
- New exosuit inventory sizes:
Exosuit cargo inventory size (Width Height):
12 10 = 120 total slots
Exosuit technology inventory size (Width Height):
6 10 = 60 total slots
Please keep in mind that you will still have to buy/upgrade the wanted slots ingame. This mod doesn't raise them automatically
to the maximum capacity.
3. Remove Technology Overload Ultimate - Reworked

This No Man's Sky mod removes the technology overload limit, allowing you to equip up to 9999 of the same tech instead of 3. It comes in three versions: a basic version, a Plus version with expanded inventory sizes and UI fixes, and an Ultimate version that adds a x100 stack multiplier and antimatter reactor fix. Ideal for players who want to hoard tech and streamline inventory management.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust with 2,125 endorsements and over 116k downloads — this mod is proven.
- Three versions let you pick your flavor: simple overload removal, expanded inventories, or full stack multiplier madness.
- The Ultimate version's x100 stack multiplier is a game-changer for hoarders, and the antimatter reactor fix shows the author cares about edge cases.
⚠️ Cons
- The Plus and Ultimate versions change inventory sizes, which might feel overpowered or break the intended progression for some players.
- You still have to grind units to buy all those extra slots — this mod doesn't give you max inventory for free.
- No mention of compatibility with other inventory mods or multiplayer — use with caution if you play with friends.
For No Man's Sky players who are tired of the 3-tech limit and want to stack multiple upgrades without hassle. The Plus and Ultimate versions are great for builders and hoarders who want massive inventories, but if you prefer a more vanilla experience, the basic version is perfect. Skip if you want a pure QoL tweak without changing inventory sizes.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to back up your save before installing, especially if you're using the Plus or Ultimate versions, as they change inventory sizes.
- If you're using the Ultimate version, the stack multiplier might affect existing stacks — check your inventory after loading to ensure nothing is lost.
- The mod requires manual installation into the PCBANKS folder — follow the author's instructions carefully and delete the DISABLEMODS.TXT file if present.
