📋 About This Mod

Dynamic Terrifying Presence NVSE

Description:

Terrifying Presence lacks any practical or general use.

It's a perk meant to appeal to combat-forward playstyles, but only sees use in a few dialogue options.

Now, you will have a 15% chance (configurable) to 'taunt' after dismembering an enemy.

For just a moment, your vision will flash red and you'll howl out (also configurable), sending weaker enemies fleeing. The effect will not play if you are sneaking.

The goal is to make the perk a more attractive option, adding mechanical novelty and providing some roleplaying flair.

It also works well with high-lethality playthroughs, where added crowd control can quickly shift the tide of a firefight.

Compatibility:

Implementation is entirely through scripting, and doesn't touch the perk itself. Should be compatible with mods affecting perk requirements and will work with save mid-playthrough.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure NVSE is installed correctly—launch the game through NVSE's loader, not the default executable.
  • This mod works best with melee or unarmed builds where dismemberment is more common, so plan your perks accordingly.
  • If you're using a mod manager like Vortex, let it handle the file placement to avoid conflicts.
