Rational Names (Butch Cut)

This started as some personal tweaks to Necrolesian's Rational Names Lite, but quickly evolved into something substantial enough that I thought it best to upload it to the Nexus -- if only because an "official" release helps me stop continually fiddling with the mod.

Like its foundation, this mod adjusts the names of various items for logic, consistency, convenience, sorting, personal preference, and to distingush them from

other items. Unlike its foundation, there is no MWSE-Lua version as I have recently made the jump to OpenMW. ESP only, folks.

Other differences include different choices in which spelling to make consistent; for this, my general line of thought was to minimize the number of edits needed in addons. For example, Tamriel_Data rather consistently uses Battle Axe over Battleaxe, so I made Battle Axe the consistent spelling.

Many of these changes are based on personal preference -- hence the name of the mod. If you would like items to be renamed according to a different set of rules, consider checking out the original mod, Potion Renamer, Soulgem Renamer, and Propylon Index Renamer.

If you have any suggestions for other items that should be renamed, or critiques of the names I have chosen, feel free to leave a (respectful) comment about it.

Armor

Consistency pass for all head armor:

      []PfP's changes to native bonemold pauldrons have been reverted.

      []Horny Fist bracers and gauntlets have been reformatted.
