# QuickSelect Ultimate v1. 6 - OpenMW

The mod had gamepad support which I was looking for but the visuals seemed so incomplete as you can see on screenshots there. That had to be fixed since the mod looked discontinued.

I have took the time to maximally polish the mod and make it suitable for every user - keyboard and/or mouse or gamepad. Fixed the visuals as well and added new options to separate out the enabled controls. Added spell icons in the quick action spell pick list. Also added expandable lists in the spell list. Added new possibilities of intuitive controls.

Looking at other Quick Select mods available out there (respect to all the authors, of course), this one has the potential to be the one, considering what it has to offer.

## Hotbar Usage

F1 brings the Quick Select Menu (this is replacer for Vanilla quick select)

Keyboard 1-10 Hotkeys are on by default:

Shift + 1/2/3 swaps between hotbars 1,2,3 by default. You can change that in the settings.

If Mouse controls are enabled:

You can bring hotbar visible by using Mouse Wheel Down

Mouse Wheel Down also skips to the next right position of the hotbar

Mouse Wheel Up swaps between 1,2,3 Hotbars

Mouse3 (clicking mouse scroll) activates selected Hotbar item

If Gamepad controls are enabled:

To wake up hotbar controls press either DpadRight or DpadDown

To navigate hotbar you can press DpadUp/Down to change 1,2,3 Hotbars and DpadLeft/Right to navigate the hotbar

To choose a hotbar item, press X (or Xbox A)

The rest of the controls are listed in the Quick Select windows.

## Known bugs

-When left-clicking on Powers/Spells/Enchantments lists in the Spell Pick Mode, the window gets closed

-Mouse-over highlighting in all modes is not working (only the tooltip is showing)

-The 'Quick Menu Selection' menu is very rarely buggy - overlaps with other window or is not automatically closed.

-Turning Gamepad controls on and then off makes WSAD controls not operable in Quick Select menus - you need to restart the game or go into console and type reloadlua

-The highlighting is a bit off with the icons in the Quick Select Main Menu but it's barely noticeable

## Installation

1. Download and extract the mod files.

2. Extract the contents to your chosen file path (e.g., `C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\OpenMW\data`).

3. Launch OpenMW and enable 'QuickSelectUltimate.omwscripts' in the Data Files section of the launcher. Put it preferably at the end of the load order to avoid any potential problems.

4. Launch the game, go into the mod options to set it up completely and enjoy.

## Settings

Access the mod settings in the OpenMW launcher under Settings > Mod Sett
