📋 About This Mod

Duskmoth Ruins

by Billyfighter

An imperial style set of ruins south and east of Suran. There's a minor quest involved starting with a knight who's further southeast down the coast from the ruins. No landscape changes where made.

(He's outside near Mudcrab Imports if you have that mod, but not required.)

Requires OAAB data.

This mod was made a long time ago while learning the OAAB assets. It was going to be north of Caldera. I felt it was too minor to release and I didn't like it disturbing the land it was on. This release I decided to bring it to Molar Mar, which would make more sense for it to be abandoned.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Duskmoth Ruins adds an Imperial-style ruin complex southeast of Suran to Morrowind, complete with a minor quest centered on the Knights of Stendarr and a hidden evil. With 90 endorsements and over 4,000 downloads, it's a modest but appreciated location mod for players seeking new dungeons and lore-friendly content.

  • 90 endorsements from a niche audience—players who grabbed it mostly liked it.
  • Lore-friendly premise: Knights of Stendarr vs. evil fits Morrowind's worldbuilding.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2022—may not be fully compatible with the latest Morrowind mod setups.
  • Only one quest and a single ruin—might be a quick playthrough for veterans.
🎯 Is This For You?

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure to check the mod's file structure—if it includes a .esp, drop it into your Data Files folder and activate it in the launcher.
  • Since it's a location mod, it's safe to add mid-playthrough, but save before visiting the ruins in case of conflicts.
  • If you use a mod manager like Wrye Mash or Mod Organizer 2, install it through that to keep your load order clean.
