BCOM Rocky West Gash

In August 2021, malbogatra released 'Rocky West Gash', a massive and incredibly immersive overhaul of the West Gash region.

Unfortunately, it conflicted with just about everything.

Within a week, Bluttier released a 'Compatibility Version' that made RWG compatible with most Balmora overhauls, including Stonewood Pass.

Unfortunately, the initial release left the most of the landscape changes and barely touched Gnisis. (More recent versions have since cut

most of the landscape edits and made RWG much more compatible in general).

A day later, Damius released an 'Aggressively Compatible Version' based on Bluttier's initial patch, that stripped all of the landscape edits

to the whole region, along with almost all of the changes south of Caldera, and made even more edits to Gnisis, making it even more compatible.

Unfortunately, the result still left BCOM Gnisis borderline unplayable, due to massive rocks covering multiple doorways in the area.

There were also numerous floaters, and between the BCOM expansion of the Gnisis docks and the RWG expansion of the cliffs opposite Gnisis,

the River Samsi that ran south of the city was basically non-existent.

Now, a few months later, I'm releasing my own personal edit of Rocky West Gash. I took Damius's 'Aggressively Compatible patch and

cut out anything that conflicted with BCOM, especially around Gnisis -- the cliffs that circle the city are now fairly bare, but all of

the doorways are now accessible, and the River Samsi is once again navigable. I also cut out any floaters, edited the mucksponge pool

west of the striderport, and removed as many of the buried RWG rock statics that I could find. I also removed a number of rocks around

'Moonmoth Legion Fort' for compatibility with the BCOM version of the fort, and removed some of the cliffs south of Ald Velothi, as

they conflicted with the BCOM edits to the Ald Velothi dock.

In addition, I also made a number of changes around Andasreth, to make Rocky West Gash fully compatible with both the

Andasreth Stronghold overhaul as well as 'Justice for Khartag' Khartag Point overhaul.

Finally, I cleaned with tes3cmd, and then used Morrowind Enchanted Editor to clean any other dirty edits to other cells.

To install:

Download, extract, install with a mod manager (I use Mod Organizer 2), and enable the BCOM Rocky West Gash.esp.

This is a complete replacer for Rocky West Gash. You do not need either the esp or any assets from the original mod or previous compatibility versions.

This mod is packaged as a BAIN installer.
